About the designer:

My creative bent is naturally inherited with a father involved in the making of fine diamond jewelry and a mother who is a commercial artist. It was simply good taste in clothes and the need to style ensembles that made me take up a 3 year vigorous fashion course at SNDT Mumbai and a summer course at FIT, New York. Here I chose to specialize in styling before I returned to my first job as a freelance fashion researcher with Vogue Magazine. After that brief stint in 2008, 2009 marked the beginning of my professional association with an export house. Here I worked as a designer for a range of high end casual wear for women, and a buyer/merchandiser for their accessory division as well, I continued in this vein till 2011 until expanding my own label became my sole focus. 

The brand

Natasha J, my private label, was launched in 2011 as a way to truly satisfy my design instincts. This is where I gave my penchant for stylish clothes free reign, while maintaining the wearability of each garment. Our clientele ranges from young women to splurging mature women of all sizes. Our collections are always commercially viable due to the suitability to the Indian consumer and of course, the use of good quality fabric and threads. 

Natasha J-wear is the perfect blend of comfort and style. The mix-n-match separates in prints and colours lets every individual cater to their personal style. The detailing to each garment adds the ‘get-noticed’ quotient that appeals to the young, and the young at heart.
